Overcoming Loneliness in South Australia Workshop

A free interactive workshop and specialist panel discussion to explore and build effective strategies to overcome loneliness brought to you by Uniting Communities with Community Centres SA.

This year will explore the theme of ‘Making Connections: Now and for Next Gen’ through three main elements:

• a continuing focus on the ‘art’ and skills of “Connectors”
• loneliness for young people (16-25)
• a panel of candidates to talk about overcoming loneliness, in an SA election context

The workshop is designed for practitioners (just like you!) and policy makers whose roles involve nurturing meaningful connections in their communities, including those who are supporting young people, older people, or people living with a disability or complex mental health issues.
