Justice Connect's Unlock DGR Campaign

Unlock DGR is a campaign by Justice Connect to broaden and simplify the Deductible Gift Recipient system so charitable organisations like community centres can access tax deductible donations and philanthropic funding.

Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status is the tax status that enables charities to access critical funding from philanthropy, grant makers, and donors in the broader community. But, right now, around half of all registered charities miss out on DGR status and the vital community support that comes with it.

Community Centres who are members of CCSA are able to access DGR status for the purpose of applying for grant funding through the national peak body, ANHCA (Australian Neighbourhood Houses and Centres Association). Please note, you will need to log in to the member’s portal to access this resource.
