The Australian Electoral Commission is coming to Kilburn Community Centre to get our communities ready for the upcoming state election on Saturday 21 March.
FREE Information Session: State Election - How Voting Works & Enrolment Support
When: Wednesday 4th March
Time: 6pm to 7:30pm
Location: Kilburn Community Centre – Hall Entrance (59 Gladstone Avenue, Kilburn 5084)

Bookings are preferred, though not essential. If someone require translation assistance, we recommend booking online in advance so we can do our best to arrange a suitable interpreter for them on the night, depending on the language required and availability.
At this session, the AEC will cover and help people to
• Enrol to vote
• Understand democracy in South Australia
• Interactive “voting experience”
• Checking and/or updating enrolment 1:1 support
• Know where your closest polling booth is on the day
This session is not political. The AEC will not talk about political parties or policies. The information is neutral and non-partisan.
This session is free and open to the community, everyone is welcome. There will be a mock voting scenario with their pop-up polling booths set up so you can see how it will look on the day.
This session is suitable for.
• If you are a new citizen, this session is a good way to learn about voting in Australia and to enrol to vote.
• If you are a citizen, and not sure if your enrolment details are up to date.
