DESCRIPTION:Ready to build your future? Join us and begin your journey toward a fulfilling construction career! \nBuilding Women\, together with our partners\, and ATEC (RTO 0022) is delivering an accredited\, hands-on training program designed to help women gain practical skills and explore exciting opportunities in the construction industry. \nWhat’s Included:\n* Accredited training: Introduction to Construction Skill Set (SSDIS01008)\n* Site visits & guest speakers\n* Career coaching & wellbeing sessions\n* Work experience opportunities & real employment pathways upon completion\n* All PPE provided \nOpen to women aged 17+ in southern Adelaide and surrounds who are not currently enrolled in school. \nThis taster program includes the nationally recognised Introduction to Construction Skill Set covering:\n* White Card CPCWHS1001\n* Apply WHS requirements\, policies and procedures in the construction industry CPCCWHS2001\n* Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry CPCCOM1012\n* Use construction tools & equipment CPCCCM2005\n* Undertake a basic construction project CPCCVE1011\n* Work safely at heights CPCCCM2012 \nStarting 4 May 2026\, this 7-week program runs 3 days a week (Monday to Wednesday)\, 9am - 3pm. It combines classroom learning\, hands-on activities\, and immersive industry experiences. All training will be delivered at ATEC\, 5 Refinery Road\, Lonsdale. \nThis training is fully funded for those that meet the eligibility criteria. \nInformation Session:\nAttendance is mandatory for all applicants. The session covers program details\, eligibility\, and required commitment. It consists of two parts: \n1 Information presentation\n2. Whether you want to video call family\, send photos\, shop online\, or finally understand what all those apps do\, we’ve got you covered. And don’t worry—there are no silly questions here! \nAcross the monthly workshops\, you’ll explore things like: \nUsing your device with confidence \nEmail\, video calls\, and staying in touch \nOnline shopping\, banking\, and booking services \nSpotting scams and staying safe online \nFun stuff too—photos\, music\, videos\, and apps \nSessions are relaxed\, friendly\, and perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a refresher. Go at your own pace\, have a laugh\, ask questions\, and enjoy learning something new each month. \nThe Be Connected Program is about building skills\, boosting confidence\, and staying connected—one friendly workshop at a time. \nThe first three months will focus on the following topics: \nPlease only book in for the sessions you are interested in. \n1st June - Online safety including passkeys and multi factor authentication \n7th July- Keeping in touch online including exploring social media apps \n14th August - Online Banking - how to stay safe

DESCRIPTION:Ready to quiz for a cause? \nPut your thinking caps on and join us for a fun night of trivia\, laughs and friendly competition at The Hut Community Centre Quiz Night! \nThis much-loved event is an important fundraiser helping support The Hut and the many programs\, services and activities we provide for our community. By coming along\, you’re helping us continue to create welcoming spaces\, run community programs\, and support people across the Adelaide Hills. \nGather your friends\, family or neighbours and form a team of any size — or come along and join a team on the night. Everyone is welcome\, and the focus is on having fun while supporting a great cause. \nThis is a BYO food and drinks event\, so bring your favourite snacks and a bottle of wine\, and settle in for a great night out. \nThroughout the evening there will also be a silent auction\, games and fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses\, adding even more excitement to the night.\nWhether you’re a trivia whiz or just along for the laughs\, we’d love to see you there!\nThis event is BYO food and drink (alcohol permitted). \nRegister for a table:\n- 8 people $160\n- 10 people $200\nTables of any size are welcome\, just book the number of individual tickets and let us know you plan to sit together. \nRegister as an individual $20 \nIndividual ticket holders will be allocated to tables.
